Dexter Sofgrip 8″ Wide Fillet Knife

The Dexter Sofgrip 8" Wide Fillet Knife is a high-performance tool designed for anglers, processors, and chefs who need strength, control, and reliability when handling larger fish. Its wide 8-inch blade provides added surface area and stability, making it ideal for breaking down big catches and tackling heavier filleting tasks with confidence.

Crafted from high-carbon, stain-resistant DEXSTEEL®, the blade offers exceptional durability, corrosion resistance, and long-lasting sharpness. The design strikes the perfect balance between stiffness and flexibility—firm enough to maintain control through thicker cuts, yet responsive enough to follow natural contours for clean, efficient fillets.

Each blade is individually ground and honed to deliver a razor-sharp edge right out of the box, while Dexter’s advanced heat treatment enhances strength and edge retention for consistent performance over time.

The signature Sofgrip handle is engineered for comfort and safety, featuring a soft, slip-resistant texture that ensures a secure hold even in wet or slippery environments. An integrated finger guard adds an extra layer of protection, making it a dependable choice for extended use in both professional kitchens and on the water.

NSF certified and proudly made in the USA, the Dexter Sofgrip 8" Wide Fillet Knife is built to meet the demands of serious users who expect precision, durability, and comfort in every cut. Whether you're processing large fish or preparing meat, this knife is designed to help you work faster, cleaner, and more efficiently.
