The Amundson Savvy Sumo River Sportsman Custom 10'6" Downrigger Rod elevates your time on the water with exclusive upgrades you won’t find on the standard model. Designed for anglers who demand both performance and refinement, this custom edition showcases a striking black colorway that sets it apart in both appearance and craftsmanship.
At the heart of the upgrade is a robust double-locking aluminum reel seat, engineered to keep your reel firmly in place even under the heavy load of downrigger fishing. This enhanced seat improves stability, reduces slippage, and delivers long-lasting durability—critical advantages when fighting hard-running salmon, lake trout, and other powerful species.
The 10'6" length provides ideal leverage for controlled releases and smooth action, while the rod’s responsive yet strong blank offers excellent sensitivity and lifting power. Perfectly balanced for trolling setups, it maintains the trusted performance anglers expect from the Savvy Sumo series, now with added reliability and a custom aesthetic.
If you're looking for a downrigger rod that blends proven fish-fighting capability with premium custom upgrades, the Amundson Savvy Sumo River Sportsman Custom 10'6" Downrigger Rod is built to exceed expectations.
