The Reef downrigger rod is a classic west coast action made from hi-modulus graphite scrim with epoxy resin to make the durability of these rods outstanding. We use a genuine Fuji reel seat with a cork foregrip and a slick butt to ensure that even under load it is easy to remove the rod from the rod holder. The guide inserts wrap around the frame to ensure there are no insert pop outs, even after many seasons of use. They are available in both a 9 ft and 10 ½ ft length. Both models have lots of backbone to fight the big one.
